Winter Classic 2016
The game experience was pretty cool! The introduction of the teams, music, fireworks, and B52 bomber flying overheard was exciting! If the game was at TD Bank garden, then there would be more fan interaction. Aside from the fact that the Bruins didn't show up to play and lost terribly, it was nice there was no obstructed views compared to Fenway but definitely not as rowdy as a typical Bruins game. This didn't happen until the third period with great rock music and showing the fans dance, etc. There was too much advertising during the game instead of pumping up the crowd. It would have been that much better if the hometown national anthem singer Renee Rancourt performed. The game felt quiet (outside the fact the Bruins were losing) as the seats were far away from the ice so you felt disconnected from the game. Cool experience but very lackluster compared to what we were expecting.
